The pool was a huge hit with the kids, and the layout worked perfectly for our group traveling with another family. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped — we even hired a personal chef one night and it was perfect.

The location is phenomenal, right up the hill from Red Hook with easy access to restaurants, groceries, and the ferry. We took the ferry to St. John for a day trip and loved the convenience. There’s also ample parking, and I definitely recommend renting a car.

Plenty of space for large groups — we’re already planning to return and bring both sets of grandparents. The host also offers helpful add-on services like airport transportation and grocery delivery. Highly recommend!" (10/5)

We were watched by an unidentified, rude woman who never introduced herself but spent our entry banging on a blaring smoke detector. We felt like intruders, not guests.

Hygiene & Maintenance:
Found cockroaches (live and dead) in the kitchen and bathroom.

Unswept floors; towels/bedding smelled used. We spent Night 1 cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry.

NO hot water in two bathrooms.

Pool Scam: Host Justin tried to extort an unlisted $75/day pool fee + 12.5% sale tax off-platform exactly 2 weeks for stay. Booked 5 months in advance never said anything about pool heater fee.

Company’s "25-point inspection" is a lie. Look at other reviews on google, yelp, and other. If Airbnb let me upload picture to proof my review is true!" (2/5)
